August 2026: Rahaf Receives Jefferson Trust Funding for Dynamic Lighting Research

We are excited to share that our research project, “Eye-Level Dynamic Lighting to Improve Alertness, Sleepiness, and Agitation in Office Environments,” has received $10,000 in funding from The Jefferson Trust at the University of Virginia.

This support will advance our investigation of how dynamic lighting conditions, measured at eye level, relate to occupants’ alertness, sleepiness, and agitation in real-world office environments. By examining lighting from the perspective of actual occupant exposure, the project aims to better understand how indoor lighting conditions can influence human health, well-being, and experience in the built environment.
